This will be the 1997 annual workshop of the CompulogNet
(Esprit Network of Excellence on
Computational Logic) area "Constraint Programming", coordinated
by Philippe Codognet
and the second meeting of the ERCIM
working group on "Constraints" coordinated by K.R.
Apt.
It is jointly organized by :

with support from the CompulogNet.
Call for Papers
We would like to invite authors to submit 2-4 pages abstract on ongoing research in all areas of Constraint Programming and Constraint Processing. Position papers describing current projects are also welcome.
The submission deadline is September 30.
Please send an electronic version of the abstract in postscript, latex or plain text to ERCIM working group secretary : Eric Monfroy, eric@cwi.nl .
Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection by the end of September.
Organization
The local organization is provided by RISC, the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation, which is also organizing CP 97, the third International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming, October 29 - November 1.
There will be no registration fee for the workshop, but participants are requested to indicate their intent to participate to the COMPULOG/ERCIM workshop on the CP 97 registration form or to notify directly the conference secretariat if they will not attend CP 97.
Workshop participants can also use CP 97 hotel facilities by using the CP 97 hotel registration form for the duration of their overall stay in Linz.
