The second "Types in Compilation" workshop was held from March 25th to March 27th, 1998, in Kyoto, Japan. The workshop was hosted and sponsored by RIMS, Kyoto University, in cooperation with ACM SIGPLAN and JSSST SIG Programming.

Proceedings have been published as Lecture Notes in Computer Science, volume 1473, Springer-Verlag.
